Funding Success

I am proud to announce that the S.E.E.D.S. project has been funded by the R E  Ross Trust. The R E Ross Trust is a perpetual charitable trust established in 1970 in Victoria by the will of the late Roy Everard Ross.
The first and one of the most major parts of the project will be to clear out the existing gardens and replace them with 4 raised wooden garden beds, including a new watering system.

The project plan is available either on this Blog or in the School Office.
The main focus of each year of the project are as follows,
1. Establishing garden beds, organising gardening shed and engaging students, parents and volunteers
2. Community involvement, students learning to plan their gardens for on going productivity
3. Curriculum integration

Also in the first year we will begin with the students cooking their Friday lunches, a display table will be set up in the office and garden themed activities will be available for the students with a fortnightly raffle for those who participate.
