This week we made Chicken Pasta Bake and Chocolate biscuit balls.
I have made some notes on the recipe about how I varied from the first time cooking this dish. It was much better without vegetables in it. Next time I will endeavor to make my own sauce which will be even more delicious.

Chicken and Pasta pre cooked, ready to be mixed with cheese and sauce

 Cheese and sauce

Hughie did a surprising job, taking over the Chicken Pasta preparation, mixing it all up ( I let him use his hands) and dividing it between the dishes. Great Job, I was really proud of Hughie today.

 Robbie preparing the carrots

Choc ball ingredients ready, I pre crushed to biscuits and we finished them off

This week was Book Week, so on Friday the students all dressed up as their favourite book characters. Cooking today we had, Wally (Where's Wally), Specky Magee, Pippi Longstockings and Goldilocks.
For lunch we had Hot Dogs and Rocky Road. The Rocky Road was delicious, and the ingredients can be changed if you wanted to try something a little different.

Dahl ingredients ready to be cooked

 Honey Joys
I made 3 times the recipe of Dahl and 8C of rice. It was a lot of rice, but I always make too much and some did stick to the bottom of the pot and some kids did have seconds.

A few weeks off

So we are back and in the full swing of things. The Garden beds are nearly full and should be ready in a couple of weeks.
After a break during school holidays, and then I was away for a week, A HUGE THANKS to Ange for cooking the first lunch after the holidays, Roast Chicken and gravy rolls and Choc cupcakes. Last week I forgot to take photos we had Hamburgers and Sticky Date Pudding. The pudding was delicious and the kids totally enjoyed it.
This week we are having Chicken Schnitzel, cheese, lettuce and mayo rolls, and Ice-cream with Lollies, a post will follow soon.
We have confirmed a visit from Bunnings, they are going to come and do a fruit tree pruning demonstration and plant a new hedge in the front garden. Yay, can't wait.

The shed is totally cleaned out, thanks to Doug and his pressure cleaner. It looks amazing, ready to fit out
