Kids in the Kitchen Week 10

This week we made Pizzas and Chocolate Mud Cake.

The Mud Cake was a Betty Crocker mix, so I haven't included the Recipe, nut I made 3 boxes of mix. It was really yummy and moist. We iced it and covered it with Popping Candy.

As much as the kids loved the lasagne, the ice-cream with lollies in was the favourite.

I have to work on my photography, I'm sure one of the kids will do a better job than me, one day.

Ice Cream with Lollies Cones Recipe

Ice Cream Cones
25 cones
4 litres of ice cream
3 bags of lollies
I let the ice cream soften, then mixed in M&M type lollies, jelly babies and mini marshmallows.

Box of 30 cones

For some reason the ice cream didn’t set very hard after mixing in the lollies. I think it could have been the cheap ice cream or the coating on the M&M’s. The jelly babies go hard and the kids loved them, so I would just add jelly babies and marshmallows and maybe choc chips.

Second time making this I used banana lollies cut up, jelly babies and mars bars cut up. I used 6 litres of ice cream and once it was mixed up and the air was knocked out of it there was 4 litres. This time it went really hard and I struggled to scoop it.
