Frog
in a Pond Recipe
So this dessert is pretty self explanatory, a
cup of Jelly with a Chocolate Frog in it.
First time making it I estimated 8 packets of
jelly would be enough, but as there were 30 kids ordering I made 10 packets of
raspberry jelly, and I think it is enough. (Each packet makes 500ml of jelly so
10pk x 500ml = 5 litres of jelly divided by 30 = 166mls each. I probably would
try and make 200ml per child; it’s easy to work out how much you need then. I
also wasn’t sure how much jelly a kid would eat but I think 200ml would be
plenty. I hope that by next time we make frog in a pond we will have a nice set
of plastic drinking cups that we could use instead of disposable ones.

1 plastic cup and a spoon
I made the jelly the day before. Before putting the
jelly in the fridge I found some trays to put them on and made sure they fit in
the fridge first. I will get the kids to unwrap and put the frogs in.
